Wilberlee Junior and Infant School

Here at Wilberlee we passionatly believe in providing an extensive list of sporting activities for the children within our Federation. We have regular sports coaches who come into school during lunchtimes to provide activity and games for the children during lunchtimes and we invite other sports companies in to help with the teaching of sport in school. We currently use some of our Sports Premium funding to provide a sports coach who works with us to deliver high quality PE sessions for pupils in school and supports teams and groups of pupils prepare for inter-school competitions. We also have a opportunities for children to take part in sport across the year through our continued involvement with the Pennine Sports Partnership.  

We are actively involved in many competitions throughout the year such as Handball, Netball, Football and Mini-Olympics for Years 1 through to 6. We will keep this page regularly updated with news of our sporting success and competitions.
